Through an audio-slide presentation, this program will take viewers on a journey exploring China, a country that has amassed a diverse legacy of heroes, myths and values that still resonate in the present. The audience will participate in a spectacular “virtual” adventure that will encourage them to:
- Capture the spirit of traditional Chinese culture and beliefs
- Experience the grace and energy of classical Chinese dance
- Feel the joy of the distinctly Chinese sound of ancient instruments
- Discover the true China they’ve never known
Light refreshments will be served. The program is sponsored by Shen Yun Promotions International (SYPI), a non-profit organization with a mission to revive the authentic Chinese culture, in partnership with the Pound Ridge Library.
