Avoiding Scams Tops Lewisboro Library Events

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- The Lewisboro Library will host a workshop titled "Avoiding Scams Targeted to Older Adults" on Monday.

A representative from the Attorney General's Office will lead the free workshop at 11 a.m. Topics include how to avoid becoming a victim, where to get help, internet safety, avoiding identity theft and common scams and frauds.

The library will also hold a free workshop on children going away to college on Wednesday, July 27. Author and retired college President Roger Martin will discuss his book "Off to College: A Guide for Parents" at 7 p.m. 

Lewisboro People: From the Early days to Revolutionary Times will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. 

Lewisboro People: Leading up to the Civil War will take place Tuesday, July 26, at 7 p.m.
