Lange will be the Hudson Valley regional director, covering Westchester, Rockland, Dutchess, Putnam and Orange counties. Armstrong will serve as the Long Island regional director, covering Suffolk and Nassau counties.

In these roles, they will be vital to Reclaim New York’s mission to expand the statewide conversation about the issues facing New Yorkers, empower citizens to engage government and drive more accountability in government. They will work closely with citizens, civic organizations and local governments to provide policy information as well as organize Reclaim New York events and training.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the Reclaim New York team and to join the growing effort to bring fiscal responsibility and better governance to our great state,” said Lange. “As a native New Yorker, I know all too well the crisis we face and the struggles my neighbors endure to afford to live here. I am looking forward to helping the people of the Hudson Valley get engaged in this cause.”

Previously, Lange ran for Congress in the 18th District and served as legislative director on Capitol Hill in Washington, where he worked on reforming the Veterans Health Administration and protecting property rights. He was born and raised in Bedford Hills.

“I am excited to join the Reclaim New York team and the effort to make our state more affordable for working families and small business owners,” said Armstrong, who previously served as National Field Director for the Leadership Institute, a Virginia-based grass-roots training organization.
