DeCicco Family Market in the Orchard Square shopping center in Cross River has put together two different packages to help make your party a success. The Field Goal Package includes a 2-foot Italian or American hero, a half-tray of Buffalo wings and a 12 pack of Budweiser or Coors Light for $69.99. The Touchdown Package features a 4-foot Italian or American hero, a full tray of Buffalo wings and an 18-pack of Budweiser or Coors Light.

“We also have a full catering menu that we offer year-round that people can pick from for their party,” said DeCicco’s Joe Carelli. “We have a multitude of salads and we have different varieties of chicken wings, not just Buffalo. We can tailor a party to whatever the customer wants. We can customize different types of platters.”

On game day, the store will have small 1 1/2-foot heroes wrapped and ready to go for last-minute shoppers.

Carelli said the store even offers hot foods, if that's what your party guests crave.

“We can do trays of sausage and peppers or baked ziti,” he said. “Things like that.”

Deli manager Lou DiMarzo said that each year DeCicco’s Super Bowl business seems to get bigger.

“Every year we seem to do a few more [Super Bowl packages],” he said. “Last year, with the Giants playing, it was really busy.”

Down the street, at Cameron’s 24/7 Deli, Super Bowl party planners will find a full menu from which to pick and choose.

“It’s one of our busiest days,” said Camilo Cameron.

The deli offers a series of Super Bowl party appetizers it calls Kick-Off Starters, which include chicken wings at $6.99 a pound, chicken fingers for $35 for a small tray and $70 for a large tray, and  jalapeno poppers for the same price. There are also veggies with dip ($30/small and $45/large), cheese and crackers ($40/small and $75/large).

Cameron’s also has a menu of Half-Time Entrees. Examples include chicken Parmesan, marsala or francese ($55/small tray, $105/large), pepper steak ($60/small or $115 large), penne ala vodka ($35/small, $65/large) and eggplant rollitini ($40/small, $75/large) – just to name a few.

Of course, being a deli, Cameron’s specializes in giant party wedges. It offers its renowned Cluck’en Russian and Cluck’en Ranch sandwiches for $18 a foot. It has American- and Italian-style sub combos as well. The American and Italian subs all come with salad (choice of potato, macaroni or coleslaw) and pickles. The subs range from 3 to 6 feet in length and range in price from $56 to $102.

“People should pre-order so that we can make sure we have the bread – we need a little notice,” Camilo said. “We have been taking a lot of orders.”
